Shopping, angels and salons, oh my!

Good morning everyone! And I hope you’re all not getting agita from the crazy lines in the department stores!

I know I was going a little nuts myself yesterday in a craft store where people were buying tons of Xmas trees and ornaments.

After standing on line for almost a half hour I found myself talking to myself out loud and thoughts that the store should open another register just splurted out of my mouth in a not so nice way! Ho, Ho, Ho. I found myself saying, “Is everyone else who works here dead or on a coffee break!”

But to tell the honest truth, it kind of felt good to get off what was on my mind as I and the rest of the shoppers were sweating and hand-screaming children who were tired of standing there while the line didn’t budge. So yes, yesterday I almost started a little shoppers revolution … but a peaceful one.

Mary tip of the day for all our shoppers is to ask for a manager when you see lines getting way out of hand and notice with YOUR AWAKENED INSTINCTS – THAT OTHER STORE CASHIERS ARE HIDING FROM THE CROWDS. When speaking to the manager, be extremely polite and very slow talking. If you shout and speak agitated, they’ll ignore you as a disgruntled shopper. But if you’re sweet and seeming patient the manager will see what you see and find the missing workers and the lines will once again begin to move.

Also, I’d like to inform you all that my new store, Mary O’s Celestial Whispers, will be opening very soon. In the meantime, I am conducting small seminar-like salons – no more than 25 to 30 people every other Saturday evening from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. I gave my first one this Saturday evening to a small group of listeners — now friends — and we had a great time.

The next Salon date I would recommend is Jan. 9. Then we have Jan. 23 opened. It will be every other Saturday night for 2 hours. This Saturday in the pouring rain we had people from Philadephia, New Jersey and Long Island. I hope to see you there soon and get to know you, as well as give you a short reading and conversation/lecture in the alloted time.

P.S.

I’m creating new Guardian Angels! Some are beautiful Pheasant Guardian Angels and come in four versions: the Angel of Peace, the Angel of Prosperity, the Angel of Harmony and Love and The Angel of Romance and Fertility). I have a very small supply at the moment, but if you want to be on the HOLD ONE FOR ME LIST, contact me through my Web site today using the Products option and I will hold what I can.

I am going to make a bird run today all over Long Island with Angela, my daughter-in-law and assistant to see if we find the birds I’ve seen in my dreams for you! I have a few made only about 15 so far. They go for $25 each, plus shipping and handling, and they are exquisite if I say so myself. Pray I find more phesants so I can make the angels for you myself.
